Patience is active, Waiting is passive

Patience is expecting, Waiting is uncertain

Patience is a discipline, Waiting can be disappointing

Patience is a skill, Waiting isn't

Patience is purposefully delaying, Waiting is reactive

I'm patience in traffic, but I'm still trying to get where I need to go. Waiting brews frustration. You still have to actively try to get home.

I'm patience with my son because I'm teaching him to be a man and I know there are trials and errors in the process. I'm not waiting for him to become a man, because anyone can do that.

I'm patience with understanding God's will, but I'm constantly serving, teaching, praying, and reading scripture. I'm not waiting.

Waiting is responsibility abandonment. Waiting is giving "you" the control of where I'm at. Waiting is taking yourself out of the equation.

with humility.
